First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special version of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), designed for shift workers, can improve sleep and quality of life in healthcare staff who work rotating shifts including nights. About 84 participants will receive either the tailored CBT-I or a brief sleep hygiene session. Researchers will track sleep, mood, and daily function over six months to see which approach works better.
