This study looked at how changing the work-to-rest ratio during taekwondo combats affects athletes' heart rate, blood lactate, and jump performance. Twenty experienced taekwondo athletes completed three different combat sessions with varying rest periods. The goal was to understand which ratio causes the most physical stress, helping coaches design better training.
