NCT ID NCT04599062
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests whether injecting a modified herpes virus (T-VEC) directly into tumors, combined with radiation therapy before surgery, is safe and tolerable for people with advanced soft tissue sarcoma. About 8 participants receive the combination to check for side effects and see if it helps shrink or kill tumor cells. The goal is to find a new way to make surgery more effective for this rare cancer.
