New transplant approach aims to reduce Graft-Versus-Host disease in kids with blood cancer

Summary

This study tests a new way to do stem cell transplants for children and young adults with high-risk blood cancers. The approach uses specially selected immune cells from a half-matched donor to lower the risk of serious side effects like graft-versus-host disease. Up to 30 participants will receive the treatment and be monitored for safety and effectiveness.
