New study aims to help breast cancer patients stick with Life-Saving meds

NCT ID NCT07071038

First seen Feb 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at two ways to manage side effects from aromatase inhibitors, a hormone therapy for early-stage breast cancer. About half of women stop taking these pills early due to side effects, raising the risk of cancer returning. Researchers will compare switching to a different aromatase inhibitor versus using standard symptom-relief methods in 62 women to see which approach helps them stay on treatment longer.
