Summary
This study tested whether taking zonisamide and bupropion together helps smokers switch completely from regular cigarettes to e-cigarettes. 180 adult smokers who wanted to switch participated. They all received a JUUL e-cigarette and were randomly assigned to get the drug combination, bupropion alone, or a placebo for 7 weeks. The goal was to see if the drugs made it easier to stop smoking regular cigarettes.
