NCT ID NCT07267481

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether switching from the dry eye drop Xiidra to a new drop called TRYPTYR (acoltremon 0.003%) can better improve symptoms and tear production. About 100 adults with chronic dry eye who still have symptoms on Xiidra will take part. Researchers will measure tear production and symptom scores over 28 days to see if the switch helps.
