NCT ID NCT07198568
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at how swallowing is affected in older adults who have lost muscle mass (sarcopenia) and have trouble swallowing (dysphagia). Researchers will use video X-rays and muscle sensors to measure throat muscle activity during swallowing. The goal is to better understand the problem, not to test a treatment. About 50 people aged 65 and older with both conditions will take part.
