NCT ID NCT07198568

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at how swallowing is affected in older adults who have both muscle loss (sarcopenia) and swallowing difficulty (dysphagia). Researchers will use video X-rays and muscle sensors to measure how the throat muscles work during swallowing. The goal is to better understand the problem, not to test a treatment. About 50 people aged 65 and older who already have these conditions will take part.
