First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether helping families with money and parenting skills can improve behavior in children with oppositional defiant disorder or conduct disorder. About 900 children aged 10-14 and their caregivers in Uganda will be split into three groups: one gets financial help, one gets family therapy, and one gets both. The goal is to see which approach works best to reduce symptoms and improve daily functioning over three years.
