Summary

This study compares two common stitch materials (Vicryl vs. Prolene) used to close the belly wall after surgery. The goal is to see which one leads to fewer problems like hernia, infection, and long-term pain. 156 adults in Pakistan having belly surgery will be randomly assigned to one stitch type and followed for 6 months.
