Summary

This study compares two common stitch materials (Vicryl vs. Prolene) used to close the belly wall after abdominal surgery. The goal is to see which one leads to fewer hernias, infections, and long-term pain. About 156 adults in Pakistan will be randomly assigned to receive one type of stitch and followed for 6 months.
