Summary
This study aims to find better ways to detect acute mesenteric ischemia, a condition where blood flow to the intestine is blocked, causing severe pain and damage. Researchers will analyze blood and tissue samples from 556 adults with sudden abdominal pain to identify early biomarkers. The goal is to improve diagnosis so treatment can start sooner.
