NCT ID NCT07411300

First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at whether follow-up phone calls or automatic messages through MyChart can help caregivers of youth aged 10-17 who visited the ER for suicidal thoughts or behaviors. About 75 families will be randomly assigned to get usual care, phone calls, or electronic messages. The goal is to see if these extra supports reduce the number of return ER visits for mental health reasons.
