New hope for voice box cancer survivors: can talking help heal?

Summary

This study aims to see if support group workshops can improve the quality of life for people who have had their larynx (voice box) removed due to cancer. The research will involve 50 participants who have had this surgery in the last four years. Half will attend four group sessions to share experiences and get support, while the other half will not, to compare the results.
