First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving free summer day camp vouchers to low-income children (ages 5-11) who are overweight or obese can help them manage their weight. The camp provides physical activity, healthy meals, and regular sleep. Researchers will compare kids who get the voucher with those who receive standard care to see if the camp helps with weight and healthy habits.
