Summary
This study tests a short problem-solving therapy to prevent suicide in adults aged 50 and older who have suicidal thoughts. Participants will receive the therapy in person, by phone, or through a smartphone app, and be compared to those getting usual care. The goal is to see if this brief, accessible approach can reduce suicidal thoughts and hopelessness over a year.
