First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested whether giving small amounts of milk under the tongue (sublingual immunotherapy) could help children with cow milk allergy tolerate more milk over time. 51 children aged 5 and older with confirmed IgE-mediated cow milk allergy participated. The goal was to safely increase the amount of milk they could drink without having an allergic reaction.
