NCT ID NCT03112200
First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested a procedure called Subchondroplasty (SCP) done with arthroscopy versus arthroscopy alone for people with knee pain from bone marrow lesions. About 131 adults aged 30-75 with mild to moderate knee osteoarthritis took part. The goal was to see if SCP plus arthroscopy better reduces pain and the need for further knee surgery within a year.
