Scientists search for clues in blood to predict transplant rejection therapy success
NCT ID NCT07316829
Summary
This study aims to understand why some transplant patients respond better than others to a light-based blood treatment (ECP) for chronic organ rejection. Researchers will analyze blood samples from 30 kidney or lung transplant patients to look for patterns in gene activity. The goal is to learn more about how the treatment works and potentially identify markers to predict who will benefit most.
