Scientists search for clues in blood to predict transplant rejection treatment success

NCT ID NCT07316829

Summary

This study aims to learn why some transplant patients respond to a light-based treatment for chronic organ rejection while others do not. Researchers will analyze blood samples from 30 adult kidney or lung transplant patients who are receiving this treatment. By comparing the genetic activity in the blood of patients who improve versus those who don't, they hope to find patterns that could predict treatment success in the future.
