Summary

This study tests whether giving a combination of two drugs (dexmedetomidine and esketamine) before and after spine surgery can lower the risk of long-term pain. About 274 adults aged 40-79 having spine surgery will take part. The goal is to see if this approach reduces pain that lasts 3 months or more after surgery.
