First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether injecting a patient's own fat-derived cells (stromal vascular fraction) into the damaged knee tendon could improve symptoms of patellar tendinopathy (jumper's knee). Thirty adults with tendon damage seen on ultrasound or MRI received the injection. The main goal was to measure changes in knee function and pain using a standard questionnaire.
