Brain clot removal tested for better stroke recovery
NCT ID NCT07347665
Summary
This study is testing whether a procedure to physically remove a blood clot from a specific artery in the brain is safe and effective for treating certain types of stroke. It will involve 200 adults who have had a recent stroke caused by a blockage in a medium-sized brain artery and who did not fully respond to standard clot-busting medication. The main goal is to see if this procedure helps people recover with less long-term disability.
