Breakthrough stroke trial tests Life-Saving clot removal in critical brain vessels
NCT ID NCT07347665
Summary
This study is testing whether a minimally invasive procedure to remove blood clots from a specific brain artery improves recovery after certain types of stroke. Researchers will compare the clot-removal procedure against standard medical care in 200 adults who have had an acute ischemic stroke. The goal is to determine if this approach helps more people regain independence and reduces long-term disability.
