New stroke treatment aims to boost brain recovery after clot removal
NCT ID NCT05797792
Summary
This study is testing if adding a clot-busting drug directly into the brain's arteries during a standard mechanical clot removal procedure leads to better recovery for people who have had a major stroke. It will involve 440 participants who have just undergone successful clot removal. The main goal is to see if more people can return to independent living with minimal disability 90 days after their stroke.
