Summary

This study tested whether a clot-dissolving medicine called rhTNK-tPA could help people having a stroke when given between 4.5 and 24 hours after symptoms started. It included 570 adults with a stroke that was not caused by a large blocked artery. The goal was to see if more patients could recover with little or no disability 90 days later.
