500 stroke patients join hunt for hidden heart danger markers

Summary
This study enrolls 500 adults who had an ischemic stroke and are eligible for clot-busting treatment or clot removal. Researchers will collect medical images, blood samples, and health data to discover new biological and imaging markers that can predict recovery and heart complications after stroke. The goal is to better understand why some patients develop heart problems and to find new ways to prevent them.
