First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study will look at 2000 adults in the Middle East who have had a stroke to find out how common risk factors like high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and smoking are. The goal is to understand how these risks differ from those in Western countries, which could help prevent strokes in the future. Participants will be interviewed and have their medical records reviewed.
