First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at whether stroke patients recover better with separate physical and occupational therapy sessions or with combined therapy from both therapists at the same time. About 567 adults admitted to the hospital for a recent stroke will take part. Researchers will measure how well patients can move and do daily activities like dressing and bathing to see which approach leads to better recovery.
