NCT ID NCT06554665

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at whether high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on a recumbent stepper can improve muscle power in people who had a stroke 1-5 years ago. 66 participants will be randomly assigned to HIIT, moderate exercise, or stretching for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure muscle power, strength, balance, and other health markers at several points to see which approach works best.
