First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on a stepper machine can improve muscle power in people who had a stroke 1-5 years ago. 66 participants will be split into three groups: HIIT, moderate exercise, or stretching, all training three times a week for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure muscle power, strength, and other health markers to see which approach works best.
