Researchers investigate why strokes progress faster in caribbean patients

NCT ID NCT07230925

Summary

This study aims to understand why strokes might progress differently in Afro-Caribbean patients compared to patients in France. Researchers will compare brain imaging data from 135 stroke patients in Guadeloupe with data from a French national registry. The goal is to identify factors that might explain why some patients experience faster brain damage after stroke, which could help improve future treatments.
