Researchers investigate why strokes may progress faster in caribbean population

NCT ID NCT07230925

Summary

This study aims to understand if strokes progress differently in Afro-Caribbean patients compared to patients in mainland France. Researchers will compare brain imaging data from 135 stroke patients in Guadeloupe with data from a national French registry. The goal is to identify factors that might explain differences in how quickly brain damage develops after a stroke.
