Summary

This study aims to find biological markers that can predict which stroke survivors will improve their walking speed with high-intensity interval training (HIIT). Researchers will measure blood lactate levels and brain activity in 55 Veterans with chronic stroke to build a model that identifies responders and non-responders. The goal is to personalize rehabilitation and avoid ineffective treatments.
