Summary
This study is testing whether adding a cholesterol-lowering medication called a PCSK9 inhibitor to standard treatment helps people recover better after a severe stroke. It will involve about 478 adults who have just had a major stroke and underwent a procedure to remove the blood clot. Researchers will compare recovery outcomes between those who receive the extra drug and those who get standard care alone.
