New stroke drug aims to stop clots from coming back
NCT ID NCT07335107
Summary
This study is testing if adding a blood-thinning drug called tirofiban helps people recover better after they've had emergency treatment for a severe stroke. It will involve 564 patients in China who have just had a major stroke caused by a blocked artery. The main goal is to see if patients who get this extra drug are more likely to be independent 90 days later, compared to those who get standard care alone.
