Summary
This study used special MRI techniques to see how brain cells change after a stroke. Researchers scanned 24 stroke patients and 24 healthy volunteers to measure water and chemical movement in brain tissue. The goal was to learn more about what happens inside brain cells during a stroke, which could help doctors develop better treatments in the future.
