Stroke recovery: watching and listening to movement may improve balance

NCT ID NCT07428824

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether watching videos of functional actions (like walking) combined with rhythmic sounds can improve balance and walking in people who have had a stroke. Forty participants will either receive standard therapy or watch these videos with music for 30 minutes a day, five times a week, for four weeks. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost approach helps stroke survivors move more safely and confidently.
