Squeeze away fear: stress ball tested before kidney surgery

Summary
This study looks at whether using a stress ball before a type of kidney stone surgery (called retrograde intrarenal surgery) can help lower patients' anxiety and fear. About 66 adults will be randomly assigned to either use a stress ball or receive standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety levels, surgical fear, and heart rate and blood pressure changes.
