First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 10-week program combining strength exercises with muscle relaxation can reduce frailty, anxiety, and burden in people caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's. About 62 caregivers will be randomly assigned to either the combined program or relaxation alone. The goal is to see if adding strength training provides extra benefits for physical and emotional health.
