First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at how a 12-week strength and power training program affects movement patterns, leg strength, and dance performance in Chinese college sports dancers. Thirty healthy female dancers with at least one year of experience took part. Half did strength training three times a week, while the other half served as a control group. Researchers measured balance, strength, and dance quality before, during, and after training, and again after an 8-week break.
