Summary

This study tested whether promoting a free web and mobile tool called StopBlues could reduce suicide and psychological distress in the general population. Over 100,000 adults in France took part. Local authorities either promoted the tool, promoted it with help from doctors, or did nothing. Researchers tracked suicides and suicide attempts over 9 to 24 months.
