NCT ID NCT07594730

First seen May 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether brief, 1-2 minute videos featuring personal stories from other parents can reduce stigma and improve help-seeking among parents of children aged 6-18 with depression, ADHD, or substance use problems. Researchers will recruit 1,600 parents online and randomly assign them to watch a video about one of these conditions or receive general information. The goal is to see if these videos can ease caregiver burden and encourage parents to seek treatment for their children.
