Can a 3-Day steroid blitz heal troubling MS brain spots?

NCT ID NCT02784210

Summary

This study is testing whether a short, high-dose course of steroids can help heal a specific type of brain lesion seen in multiple sclerosis (MS). Researchers are enrolling 30 adults with MS who have these 'ring-enhancing' lesions but no new symptoms. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either 3 days of steroid treatment or no treatment, and their brain lesions are tracked using advanced MRI scans over 25 weeks to see if the steroids improve healing.
