Summary
This study tested a plan to help people who are dependent on over-the-counter nasal decongestant sprays. Participants used a prescription steroid spray while slowly reducing their decongestant use over several weeks. The goal was to see if this method could help them stop using the decongestant completely while keeping their nasal passages clear.
