Breaking the nose spray habit: new study tests a way out

NCT ID NCT07168148

Summary

This study is testing a method to help people who are dependent on over-the-counter nasal decongestant sprays. It aims to see if slowly reducing the decongestant spray while adding a prescription steroid spray can safely break the cycle of rebound congestion. The trial is conducted virtually across the US with 100 adults who use these sprays daily for chronic nasal obstruction.
