First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks to manage pain after heart surgery through the breastbone. Fifty adults having planned heart surgery will receive either a combination of two blocks or a single block, along with standard pain medicines. The goal is to see which method provides better pain relief, reduces the need for strong painkillers, and speeds up recovery.
