Could 5 radiation sessions replace 30 for skin cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT07337161

First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests if a shorter course of radiation (5 sessions) works as well as the standard longer course (20-30 sessions) for people with skin cancer in the head and neck area after surgery. About 90 adults who have had their cancer removed will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the shorter treatment controls the cancer just as well with fewer side effects.
