First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This early study tests if a precise type of radiation (stereotactic radiotherapy) can safely reduce symptoms in people with severe depression that hasn't responded to standard treatments. Nine adults aged 18-50 will receive the treatment and be monitored for changes in mood and safety. The goal is to see if this approach can ease symptoms when other options have failed.
